Call To Action

Our current focus is getting Assembly bill A-4520 on the agenda for January 17th’s “Tourism, Gaming & The Arts” committee meeting. This is the next step in getting this corrective bill through the legislature. Right now, we need to show Assembly Leadership that this bill has wide support across the state, not just from owners but from renters as well. This time we are asking for EMAILS because we want to make sure they are hearing WHY you want them to support this bill.

Owners: Look through your list of past and future renters and contact any NJ residents and ask them to reach out to their legislators, especially any residents of the districts listed below

*** Important ***

We especially need residents of the following Districts to EMAIL their Legislators:

  3. Ask them to urge Leadership (Speaker Coughlin & Majority Leader Louis Greenwald) to put A-4520 on the TGA Committee agenda for January 17th.

Why we don’t provide a “script”:

“Form” messages are less effective as hundreds of identical emails diminishes their effect. Legislators have learned to spot scripted messages and form letters.  Please take a moment to email your legislators with your own words and tell them how the tax will impact you. It doesn’t have to be lengthy, just let them know what this tax will do to you and your family.
